Military Apparel

Military Apparel Detail
Military is the new trend promoted by a large number of design houses for the fall/winter fashion. Unlike the Georgian and Victorian army lines dominating the catwalks in early spring of 2010, the current draws his inspiration from the 20th century military apparel. This means that the center stage is taken by the utility principle. According to it clothes are comfortable, less decorative – mainly just large buttons and have many pockets to keep things.
Green is the new color saluted with enthusiasm by fashionistas all over the world. Navy wasn’t forsaken either and black builds up silhouettes as always. Long, medium and short jackets can be found on the runways at Burberry, Balmain, MaxMara and Gaultier.
The aviator theme refers to slim cuts revealing the body form. Jackets are embellished with shearling and suede and have many buckles. Skinny pants with many pockets reinvent the cargo style.
How to wear
If the army green trend is your favorite, then you can choose to mix a military style jacket with pants and army boots or a long jacket with a silk dress, a pair of suede boots and a nice Russian style fur cap.
For an aviator look, you need a short shearling embellished jacket, a pair of brown or blue skinny pants with pockets on the side, buckled leather boots, sunglasses and leather gloves. A compass and a plane will fit nicely in the scenario.
